Thank you Vinesh Singh for inspiring this post.

Developing an effective contract preparation process is key to lasting success in all industries, particularly the construction industry. Thorough preparation ensures clarity, minimises risk, and protects the interests of all parties. For professionals dealing with contracts, a well-prepared contract can make the difference between a smooth partnership and contentious, costly disputes.
BUT - The contract is only one of the three pillars for effective procurement.
Two of the three pillars are firmly in the Quantity Surveyors domain and it baffles me how Australian Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors have allowed "front end lawyers" to take over the construction Industry.
Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors are not lawyers and should not try to be. However, at Collabi, we are skilled in taking a structured and commercial approach to contract preparation, bringing precision and foresight to this critical task.
